Muncie- Benjamin Aranda, 72, passed away at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on October 21, 1941 in San Bernardino, California to Refugio and Maria (Cradova) Aranda. Benjamin graduated from Redlands High School in California.
He was a production worker at Duffy Tool in Muncie. Benjamin served his county proudly in the National Guard of California.
Benjamin is survived by his Loving wife of 31 years Phyllis (Lancaster) Aranda, 5 daughters Bonnie Mauro; Muncie, Mary Cowan; Muncie, Dorothy Martinez (husband-John); Lucerne Valley, California, Anna Rust (husband-Gary); Portland, Oregon, Peggy O’Daffer (husband-Ron); Lima, Ohio , 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parent, son Robert Cowan, Jr., daughter Betty Wolfe, and several brothers and sisters.
The Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard will conduct military rites at the grave site.
