Benito Martinez, M.D., a well-respected and dedicated family physician, passed away on December 1, 2014. He was a physician for over 35 years in the Pasadena and Glen Burnie area. Benito was the Chief of Family Medicine at North Arundel Hospital and a Fellow and Diplomat of AAFP. He was the beloved husband of the late Ana Maria Martinez; devoted father of Fernando Martinez and wife Diane, Ben Martinez and wife Lois and Dr. Ana Maria Martinez; loving grandfather of Alex and wife Julie and Chris Martinez; cherished great-grandfather of Gabriella and William; dear brother-in-law of Dr. Mirtha Ibarra. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
