Benito “Benny” Enrique Flores, 53, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, godfather of Silver City entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 surrounded by his family.

While raising his beautiful daughters and son, Benny worked for the Grant County Detention Center and then the Chino and Tyrone mines for many years doing what he loved most, being a mechanic, which was his passion by trade.  Benny’s hobbies include wood cutting, working on his trucks, and most of all spending time with his family.  He loved talking with his friends, family, and anyone else who would lend him a listening ear talking about his “war” stories and life in general.  Benny was given the most joy when his daughter’s son was born into his life and named Benny after him whom he prized the most.  He believed that God came first in life followed by his family.  Benny was a man of great strength with a beautiful heart of gold for all, especially his family without an ugly bone in his body.

Benny is survived by his loving wife of 37 years who he met at the age of 17, Dina Flores; favorite daughters, Suzette and Magdalena(Maggie) Flores of Silver City; son,mijito, Chuck G. Flores (Jennifer)of Phoenix, AZ; sons, Little Benny Flores  and Andres Flores of the family home; grandchildren, Julian Flores, Sophia Flores and Jayden Flores; godson and Angel at his back, Esteban Arizaga; mother, Lucille Flores; siblings, Eddie Flores (Emmarie), Margaret Begay (James), Tony Flores (Lou), of Silver City Raymond Flores of Chicago, Ill.; sister-in-law, Natalie Flores and son, Little Robert; multiple nieces and nephews; special relatives, Tia Virginia, Prima Lynn, Margaret and Tave of Morenci, AZ who he held a  special place in his heart, Tia Clara and all the Flores Family.  Benny was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Henry Flores: brothers, Robert Joseph Flores, Steven Christopher Flores his “Teddy Bear”; NinaFina, and Rosita Castillo; Nina Mary and Uncle Marcos.
