Bennie will be remembered by his wife: Mary Ella Blakley; five brothers: Fred Blakley, Willie (Willie Ruth) Blakley, Pink (Gwen) Blakley, Jr., Horace (Minnie) Blakley, George (Arlene) Blakley; two sisters: Jean (James) Ridgeway, Mary (Jeremiah) Edwards, all of Lisman, Alabama; his son: Derrick (Mary) Ray, Sr. & two grandchildren: Derrick Jr. & Zu’Niah, Evergreen, Alabama, & a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives & friends. Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sallie Cook; one sister-in-law, Irene Blakley; three brothers, Daniel Blakley, Dan Ray, & T.J. Ray.
