Belvia Ruth Warran, 85 of Wheatfield, IN passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

She was born April 24, 1935, to the late Martha Willis in Harriman, TN. “Ruth” as she was called, was a loving wife, mom, and homemaker. Later in life, she worked part-time in the blueberry fields, and cornfields in the fall. She was an active member of the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God, where she served on the worship team, cleaned the church, and was an active member of the church’s women’s group. Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God and Rensselaer First Assembly of God were her church family.

She enjoyed her church family, the music, the love, and the laughter. Ruth married the love of her life Lawrence (Mike) Warran at the age of 14 on August 27, 1949. They had seven children. They were married 57 years at the time of his passing, December 4, 2006.

She is preceded in death by her mother, her husband, a half-brother, two daughters; Tammy Warran, and Violet Warran, two sons-in-law; John Nowling and Jerry Franklin. She is survived by Brenda (Ron) Cox of Florida, Mike (Shawna) Warran of Kentucky, Debbie Franklin of Kentucky. Tim (Sheryl) Warran of Indiana, Mark (Shelly) Warran of Indiana, Rhea (Kevin) Bennett of Michigan.

She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was an Aunt, Cousin, Granny, and Friend to many people, she will be missed dearly.
