Anderson – Belle D. Davis Fox, 99, Anderson, died July 25, 2002 at Community Northview, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born September 25, 1902 in Summitville, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. She lived in the Pendleton and Anderson area for most of her life. She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1966 after 25 years of service.
After retirement, she enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She is survived by her four children Nora & husband Cricket Hofer of Indianapolis, Maurice ”Bill” & wife Jean White of Anderson, Robert White & friend Ruby of Anderson and Kenneth White of Anderson; two step-children Monica & husband William Mehling of Anderson and Jim & wife Martha Fox of Monticello; twenty one grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren;.
She is also survived by her special cats Abby and Amy. She was preceded by her She was preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Fox in 1972, her parents Martin & Mary Frances Good Davis, a daughter and son-in-law Lena & George Cloud, two daughter-in-laws, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, one great great grandchild and a step-son.
