Belinda Marie Garza, age 67, passed away suddenly October 19, 2020 at Laurels of Galesburg in Galesburg, MI. Belinda was born November 8, 1952 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Willard Verville Sr. and Ruby (Baty) Patterson. She was a longtime area resident, was a graduate of Old Central High School and attended both KVCC and Davenport College. Belinda was employed for several years with W-L Molding of Michigan and was a secretary for volunteer services at the Family Independence Agency. From 1987-1995 she served as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts of America. She was well known as an avid reader and collector of books. Belinda also was a passionate Elvis fan collecting as many of his records and memorabilia as she could. The most important part of her life was her family.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Jason and Nina Garza; two grandsons Brayton Garza and Wyatt Garza; sister Lisa Verville; brother Billy Verville; brother Joe Verville; brother James (Dana) Wilson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Willard Verville, Sr.; her mother Ruby Patterson; her brothers Curtis Wilson and Gary Verville.
