Sister Belinda Gail Johnson was born September 15, 1961 in Millen, Georgia to the late Janie B. Williams and Willie R. Robinson. On Thursday, January 21, 2021, God dispatched his angels to bring a beautiful angel home to rest. She departed this life at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Sister Belinda Johnson attended Jenkins County school system where she graduated from Jenkins County High School in 1979.  Shortly after graduation Sister Belinda Johnson joined the Job Corps, in the state of Kentucky, where she fulfilled a two-year commitment.

On February 8, 1982 Sister Belinda enlisted into the active-duty status of the United States Army as a Petroleum Fuel Handler Specialist. She worked her way up the enlisted side to the rank of Master Sergeant where she served her country faithfully for 22 years.

On July 7, 1990, in Tacoma, WA, Sister Belinda united in Holy matrimony to Larry D. Johnson for 31 years. To this union there was one child born and one form a previous marriage. In 1994, the family relocated to Ft. Carson, Colorado where they would retire and raise their children Jamelle D. Brown and LaQuan D. Johnson.

Belinda is preceded in death by her parents Janie B. Williams and Willie R. Robinson; her sister Gwendolyn W. Reese and brothers Henry A. Williams and Charles Williams.   

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Larry D. Johnson and two sons Jamelle D. Brown and LaQuan D. Johnson all of Colorado Springs, CO, two sisters, Mary Boyd and Denise Williams of Augusta, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
