Belinda Perfetto Barra, 88, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2012 at The Arden House. She was the devoted wife for over 66 years to the late Raymond Barra. Mrs. Barra was born in New HavenJan. 28, 1924, daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette Giaccio Perfetto. She worked for the Seamless Rubber Co. in New Haven and the U.S. Veteran’s AdministrationHospital in West Haven. Her knitted slippers, of which she made hundreds of pairs, have warmed feet worldwide. She is survived by special nieces and their husbands, Katherine and Michael McManus and Marguerite and Paul Petrucci., and their children. Also survived by her sister, Ann D’Antonio of Hamden; her brother, Pasquale Perfetto of New Hampshire, and his children.
