Beherald ”Bee” Massey, 87, Anderson, died September 7, 2003 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson, Indiana after a brief illness. He was born September 2, 1916 in Howard County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. He drove produce trucks for Payless for many years and retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors where he was an Alternate Committeeman in Plant 11. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge for over 60 years. He loved gardening, fishing and Dachsunds. He was an avid shark’s tooth collector and loved watching baseball, especially the Yankees. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Roberta Trissel Massey; children, Nancy & husband Bill Lee of Anderson and John & wife Sharon Pike of Tennessee; step-daughters, Judy & husband Tom Gray and Sherry Scott both of Anderson; grandchildren, John & wife Sharon Humes of Anderson, Angee Humes & special friend Debbie of Terre Haute, Melissa Humes Tuttle of Anderson, Tina & husband Glen Humes Smart of Lapel, Steven & wife Natalie Pike of Madison, Tom & wife Jennifer Pike of Columbus, Ohio, Tim Pike of Ohio and Bethany & husband Chris Majovski of Ohio, Laura Lee, Cullen Pike, Dane Lee and Ann Jeanette Pike; step-grandson, Devin Lee; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several step-great grandchildren; special nephew, Oscar Massey Jr.; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; special fiends, John & Zoe Johnson and neighbors. He was preceded by his wife, Emily Massey in 1985; parents, Orley & Addie Dean Massey; former wife Frances Massey in 1980; brothers, Paul Massey, Oscar Massey, Ralph Massey and Charles Forrest Massey; sister Naomie Massey; son, Bob Pike; special nephew, Chuck Massey and a granddaughter, Annette Jodell Humes.
