Beatrice L. Wolfe, nee Serfass, 92, of Swansea, IL, formerly of Lehighton, PA, born February 23, 1925 in Bowmanstown, PA, passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL on Friday, January 26, 2018 with her family by her side.
Beatrice was a member of and sang in the choir at Zion United Church of Christ in Lehighton, PA. Beatrice enjoyed baking, embroidering, and sewing. She was a proud grandmother of five wonderful grandchildren. Beatrice will be remembered for her loving and caring spirit.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Bertha Serfass, nee Blose; husband, Carl A. Wolfe, Sr.; two sisters; five brothers; and one grandson, Benjamin J. Wolfe. Surviving are her two children, Carla (Craig) Weiss of Swansea, IL, Carl A. (Lynda) Wolfe, Jr. of Lehighton, PA; five grandchildren, Christopher Wolfe of Lehighton, PA, Andrea (Shaun) Wolfe-Clark of San Antonio, TX, Alexander Wolfe of Bullhead City, AZ; Carl Weiss of Maryland Heights, MO; Caryn (Benjamin) Martin of Swansea, IL.
