Bea Clubb, 92, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. She was born on June 24, 1925, as the only child of eastern Montana homesteaders Joseph and Rose Lundblad. Bea grew up near Circle, MT. She graduated with a teaching degree from Concordia College in Moorehead, MN. After graduation, Bea moved to Mullan, ID, to teach high school, where she met the love of her life, Jack Clubb. They were married in 1952 and moved to Portland, Oregon, where Jack started his career with Bonneville Power. When Jack retired, they moved to Scottsdale, AZ, to Sandpiper Scottsdale at McCormick Ranch and then in the late 1990s moved to Vi at Grayhawk where they remained until their death. Bea was the consummate homemaker. She decorated her homes beautifully, was an accomplished seamstress, knitter, and photographer. Her happiest times were spent travelling. She and Jack had many extraordinary travel experiences and met many of their friends while on these adventures. Her trip slide shows were legendary. Bea was an active member of the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church, PEO, and many committees at Vi. Bea was preceded in death by her parents and Jack, her husband of 62 years. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who live in Montana, Idaho and Washington. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary staff at Vi, Hospice of the Valley, and the members of Pinnacle Presbyterian Church.
