Beatrice H. Jefferson, 94, formerly of Upton and Westboro, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 in the Continuing Care Center of Hopedale after a period of declining health. She was a secretary at Westboro State Hospital for over 40 years, retiring in 1975.
Miss Jefferson was born in Upton, a daughter of the late William E. and Josephine (Nutting) Jefferson. She grew up in Upton, where she was educated in local schools, and then lived in Westboro for many years before returning to Upton after her retirement.
She leaves three nephews and one niece, including Phillip and Gordon Stearns, both of Upton.
