Beatrice (Betty) Johnson, 99, passed away January 21, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born in Santa Maria, CA. December 25, 1914 to Mary and John Clark.
Betty married James William Johnson in 1936 and they made their homes in San Louis Obispo, San Jose, and then 50 years in San Francisco. She relocated to Washington State and then Idaho to be with family.
She leaves behind her son, Clark (Marj) of Meridian, Idaho; grandson, Ben (Jenny); great grandsons, Alden, Gavin, and Karrick of Renton WA.; sister-in Law, Lavinia Carroll; nieces and nephews in California; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, Mary and John Clark, four sisters, and two brothers.
Betty’s hobby was gardening and she enjoyed her afternoon walks.
Our family would like to thank Grace, Aspen, St. Luke’s, and Genesis Healthcare of Meridian for their compassion and care.
She will be loved forever and ever.
