Beatrice Phoebe (Breault) Bersing, 94, of Canterbury, wife of the late Edward M. Bersing, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Ellis) Breault, Sr. Beatrice loved to camp, travel and garden and mostly enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beatrice is survived by three sons, Lawrence G. Stankus (Marie) of Ludowici, GA, Warren E. Bersing (Flavio) of North Haven and Norman E. Bersing (Paula) of Old Lyme; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, George and Harold; three sisters, Alice Kroc, Edith Vecchitto and Laura Groat and her life partner of thirty years, Edwin Benjamin.
