HAVERHILL – Beatrice M. (Alonzi) White, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on March 18, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Bea was a lifelong resident of Haverhill, graduating from Haverhill High School with the class of 1949. Along with raising her children she worked at Western Electric, AT&T and Pentucket Bank.
In her younger days, Bea enjoyed bowling on many leagues and taking drives and going dancing with the love of her life, her husband Bob.
Bea was the daughter of Italian immigrants, and it was her parents Harry and Lucy Alonzi, that instilled her family values and love of cooking. She loved to make her Italian homemade pastas for others and taught her granddaughters and nieces to ensure the traditions carry on. Her legacy will live on through her recipes and the many stories she shared.
Bea is survived by her son Robert White, Jr. and his wife Jeanette of Reno, NV, daughter in-law Jane Barry; grandchildren Katrina, Jessica, Amanda, Jason, Jeremy, Nathan, Aris and Zeke; nieces Janie, Judi, Donna, Idelle and Andrea. She will be greatly missed by her 15 great-grandchildren as well her many cousins, aunts and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert White Sr., her daughter Maureen (Barry) Hall, her son Michael Barry and her grandchildren Michelle and Robbie.
