Bea was born in Ocate, NM to Waldo and Clorinda Guara on Feb. 16, 1924. She married and moved to Pueblo, CO and later to California. She worked at Gladys McBean painting designs on
ceramic dishes and soldered and assembled components at ITT Canon Electric. She eventuallymoved back to Pueblo and worked many years as a Paraprofessional for Pueblo City Schoolsand as a Foster Grandparent. Bea loved reading the Bible and was a true prayer warrior and was affectionately known as “Billy Graham”. She was a very active member of New Hope Ministries in Denver and Pueblo. One of the joys of her life was helping to raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The spiritual foundation she imparted to them and those around her was priceless. Bea’s tortillas were loved by all and have been hard pressed to duplicate. She will be sadly missed by her family. Special thanks to Maryann Salazar and staff of Life Care Center of Pueblo for their care. Cremation has taken place.
