Bartlett G. Beckett Jr., 78, of Elkhart, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday (Jan. 16, 2009) in Hubbard Hill Estates.
He was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Elkhart County to Bartlett G. Sr. and Wilma (Fisher) Beckett.
Mr. Beckett is survived by his close friend and caregiver, Merle B. Holdeman of Bristol, his church friends and several cousins.
He was a farmer, wallpaper hanger and decorator. A member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mr. Beckett enjoyed doing crafts and being keeping up with current events.
