Barte Gavin Miller, age 79, a native and life-long resident of Wilmer, Alabama, departed this life on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Megan Miller; his parents, J F and Jewel (Daughdrill) Miller; brother, Gerald Miller; and sister, Jewel Howell. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lena Carr Miller; two sons, Randy (Tammy) Miller and Barry (Beverly) Miller; one daughter, Kelly (Paul) Tomlinson; seven grandchildren, Drew Miller, Whitney (Joseph) Ward, Grant Miller, Brody Tomlinson, Eli Miller, Kyle Tomlinson and Evan Tomlinson; two great-grandchildren, Dawson Ward and Collins Ward; special family members Stacy (Tim) Nightengale, Jerry (Gwen) Miller, Rita Sheffield, Gavin Sheffield, Trevor Sheffield, Archie Carr, and Orville (Helen) Carr. Mr. Miller is also survived by many other special family members and friends.
