Barry Gene Hughie, 78, of Ringgold passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born on October 4, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Glenn and Dorothy Hughie. Mr. Hughie enjoyed piloting private airplanes, watching the Atlanta Braves and loved being bad at golf.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Paula Hughie; son, Chris (Melondy) Bethune; daughter, Tracy (Coley) Brookshire; sisters, Barbara Williams and Fran Hughie; grandchildren, Austin Brookshire, Hunter Brookshire, Alex Bethune, Jacobb Bethune and Joshua Bethune; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Ansleigh and Bradon Bethune.
