Mrs. Barbara Tillman Adkins, 69 of Lanett, AL passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at her residence.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Gene Adkins; children, Tanya Clark (Billy); Tena Welling (Rich); Jerry Esco White, Jr. (Wanda); step-children, Bradley, Scott, & Katie; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Susie Mae Price; brothers; J.W., Billy, Thomas, & Benny Tillman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Ann White Kirkland.
Mrs. Adkins was born in South Carolina. She was a wonderful cook. She worked for West Point Pepperell Shawmut Mill. She liked Alabama football and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
