DURHAM- Mrs. Barbara Sherron Goss, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Hock Family Pavilion.
Mrs. Goss was born February 25, 1938 to the late Marvin and Maggie Sherron in Durham, NC. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and her vacation home at Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Mrs. Goss took care of all her grandchildren and enjoyed spending quality time with them. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mike Riggs; brother-in-law, Coy Glenn.
Mrs. Goss is survived by her husband of 69 years, Bobby Wallace Goss; son, Scott Goss (Holly); daughters, Faye Riggs and Lynn Sigmon (Johnny); brother, Marvin Sherron (Virginia); sisters, Betty Glenn and Joyce Agner; grandchildren, Michael Riggs (Kim), Nick Riggs (Jodi), Michael Goss, Tanner Goss (Kimberly), Shelly Fletcher (Page) and Johnny Sigmon, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Bailey King, Landon Fletcher, Jordyn Riggs, Tori Riggs, Dylan Walker (Ashley), Morgan Sigmon, Brooke Sigmon and Rafe Sigmon.
