Barbara Rebecca Banz Bereece
On Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the age of 77, Barbara passed away peacefully. She was born February 25, 1939 in SLC, UT, the daughter of Fred William and Mary Widdison Banz.
She married Curtis Melton Bereece on December 15, 1956 in Clearfield. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Hawaiian LDS Temple. They were blessed to raise five children. She worked for the Air Force Base Exchange for many years.
Surviving are her children, Terry-deceased (Laurie), Kevin (LaDell), Jeff (Azucena), Mindy (Michael) Mallari, and Glenn (Jan) Stauffer, 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and two brothers, Larry and Robert Banz.
Preceding her in death are her husband Curtis, son Terry, brother, Fred, and sister, Sylvia.
The family would like to thank Sallie and her staff at Chancellor Gardens and Emily & Dani from Symbii Hospice for the loving care they provided our mother.
