Barbara R. Mitton-Barth, 78, o fCrawfordsville, died at 3:45 p.m.Sunday at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
She had been a cashier at Standard Grocery and JC Penney, and asecretary at Mills School and Even Start. Her member ships included Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
She was born May 23, 1934, at Nashville, Ill., to Eugene Allen and Della Marie Williams Schleuter. She married Larry Mitton in August1956. He died Oct. 7, 1994. She then married William David Barth Jan. 22, 1999. He survives.
Other survivors include:sons, Steve (Sandy) Mitton of Menomonee Falls, Wisc., David(Robin) Mitton of Crawfordsville and Daniel Mitton of Indianapolis; brother William Schleuter of Oakwood,Ill.; six grandchildren, Ryan(Victoria), Rachel, Madeline, Rowan,Eli and Jackson; and great-grandchild Lilian Pearl.
