Barbara “Bobsy” McGoff Wilson
Colchester, VT- Barbara “Bobsy” McGoff Wilson, 78, passed away, Tuesday after a courageous battle with Thyroid Cancer.
She was born in Barre, Vermont, October 31, 1934, daughter of the late Charles and Maxine (Coravillas) Griffin. She attended schools there and graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre.
She married Morton “Dewey” McGoff of Cabot, VT on April 7, 1956. He predeceased her. She married the second love of her life, Richard Wilson of Barre, VT on May 11, 1981.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Robert McGoff of Colchester, CT and two daughters Bambi McGoff of Colchester, Ct and Wendy Hacker and her husband David of Fairfield, Ct, a step-son David Wilson and his wife Tracey, a step-daughter Debbie Watson and her husband Scott, thirteen grandchildren, James Stone, Jr., Jenny Stone McMahon, Tiffannee Kelsey McGoff, Kelsey McGoff LaBelle, Erin McGoff, Brendan McGoff, Kyleigh Hacker, Kenneth Hacker, Kristina Hacker, Kristina Watson, Heather Watson, Garrett Wilson Cooper Wilson and two great granddaughters, Molly Jo McMahon and Skylar Villas Hacker, two sisters Joyce St. Francis of Burlington, VT and Claire Simmons of Rhode Island, a brother Charles “Skip” Griffin, Jr. of Oceanside, CA. She was predeceased by her sister Carole Bernasconi of Barre, VT. She also leaves cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved by all for her wit. Family and friends will remember her as a fun practical joker.
