Barbara Ann Johnson McElroy, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Barbara was born in Eupora, Mississippi on November 19, 1939. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years Vann B. McElroy, parents Claude and Virginia Johnson, sister Kathleen Johnson and brother George Johnson. She is survived by her sons Jeff (Rachel), Tim (Heather), and Mark; her grandchildren Matthew, Hannah and Ellie; and many treasured nieces and nephews. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, and will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
