Mrs. Swingel ws born in La Salle on March 15, 1936 to Edward and Evelyn (Braggo) Ziel. She married Ronald “Zum” Swingel in St.
Barbara was a long time member of Ladd Recreation Board, St.
Mrs. Swingel is survived by her daughter Diane (Bill) Chandler of Ladd and son Ronald E. (Sally) Swingel of Spring Valley; six grandchildren, Kristin (Mike) Reingruber, Nathan Chandler, Britt, Neil, Casey and Michael Swingel; one greatgrandson Tyler Reingruber; three brothers, Edward (Sharon) Ziel, James (Diane) Ziel and Gary (Vallary) Ziel, all of Ladd.
She is preceded in death by her husband on December 13, 2013.
