Barbara M. Tice, 87, of Fullmer’s Personal Care, Lock Haven, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore.
Barb’s husband, Edward J. Tice, died on Feb. 16, 1976.
Barb was a Gold Star Mother, having had a son killed in the Vietnam War. She enjoyed playing cards and crocheting.
Barb worked as a teacher’s aide in a couple of pre-schools in Florida.
Born Oct. 22, 1922 in Old Lycoming Twp., Lycoming Co., she was the daughter of John L. and Laura Agnes Miller Haas.
Surviving are daughters, Jeannette I. (Kenny) Spencer of Alba, Patricia A. (Bill) Miller of Avis, Cynthia K. (Gary) Dunkleberger of Williamsport and Kathy J. (Gene) Stopper of Bastress; brother, John L. Haas, Jr. of Bastress; sister, Dorothy E. Flook of Bastress; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Barb was predeceased by a son, Edward J. Tice III and a sister, Anna Catherine McLaughlin.
