Barbara Louise Isreal was born on November 15, 1928 in Rockville, MD.
On November 13, 2014 the Lord called Barbara home to rest in his loving arms.
Barbara Louise Isreal received her education in the Montgomery County Public School System, in Maryland. On September 23, 1949 Barbara Louise was joined in Holy Matrimony with the Dapper Earl Alexander Branison, her best friend, soul mate and love of her life until he went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 1996. God blessed them with five children two sons Earl Saunders and Timothy Alexander Branison, three daughters Anita Louise, Rita Jo, and the late Joyce Irene Branison
Barbara attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Lincoln Park Rockville MD and accepted Christ at an early age. Barbara was an active member and served until her health declined and she relocated to Florida. Barbara was a devoted stay at home Mom, as well as working at Flow Laboratory in Rockville, MD until the birth of her youngest child Timothy Alexander who she affectionately called “My Sunshine”.
Barbara enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed being with her family and friends. Barbara’s most joyful times where spent cooking large meals and vacationing with her children. She lovingly raised a grandchild and a great grandchild, Malea LaJuan and Tamika Bonita. Barbara was the source of wisdom & encouragement for her children, grandchildren, friends and other family members.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memories Earl Branison, Anita Branison, Rita Wilson (Richard) Timothy Branison, nine grandchildren, Giovonne Branison, Gennaro Branison, Andre Johnson, Larita Joppy-Williams (Robert), William Joppy, Stevland Joppy (LaToya), Enrico Custis, Nakia Custis, Malea Bishop (Keith), 23 great grandchildren , One Aunt who she loved with all her heart… Violet Raby (John), One Uncle James Isreal, a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her mother the late Virginia Louise Isreal, her husband the late Earl Alexander Branison, and her daughter the late Joyce Irene Branison.
