Barbara Lee Insley, age 77, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died on June 28, 2014 in Zeeland, Michigan after suffering from cancer for 13 months.

She was born on December 15, 1936, in Towson; her parents the late Dolores and Richard Hepting; and graduated from Glen Burnie High School. She worked as a bank teller for the Riviera Beach branch of Maryland National Bank/Nations Bank, and volunteered her time at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty six and a half years: Roy James Insley.

Barbara is survived by her son: Gregg James Insley and his wife Lori; two granddaughters: Annie and Kami, all of Zeeland, Michigan; her two brothers: Douglas Hepting and his wife Yvonne, of Allyn, Washington, and Gary Hepting and his wife Cindy, of Oregon City, Oregon; her two sisters: Marlene Hepting, of Spring, Texas, and Deborah Taylor and her husband Glenn, of Purcellville, Virginia; and her sister in law Fay Insley Brandt, of Baltimore.
