Barbara Jean Lackey, 80, of Peyton, Colorado passed away on July 8, 2017 at home with her son and daughter. She is survived by four children, Cheryl Marinaro, Linda Kyle, Brian Lackey and Steven Lackey; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson.
Barbara was the owner of “A Formal Affair”, wedding and prom dress alterations. She was the best in town in her day! Barbara loved doing her crafts and craft shows for many years also. All she talked about was the winters spent in Quartsite, Arizona dodging Colorado winters and the cold.
Barbara spent many years working for K-Mart in Colorado Springs, Jacksonville, Florida and Jackson, Mississippi.
Rest in Peace Mom and may you and Grandma catch lots of fish together again!
