Barbara Jo Walters, age 75, of Columbiana died at 5:39 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013, at the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. She was born December 2, 1937 in Salem the daughter of the late Glen Regal and Esther (Groves) Regal Warner. Barbara was a waitress for 10 years at the Heck’s Restaurant in Columbiana and previously was the former part owner of Wedgewood Management in Youngstown for 10 years. She attended the Greenford Christian Church and was a 1956 graduate of Salem High School. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her best friend, her dog, Daisy. Survivors include a son, Darrell (Tina) Walters of Boardman; 2 daughters, Rhonda Simmons and Vickie McKenna both of Columbiana; 2 sisters, a twin sister, Beverly (Ronnie) Bush of Greenford and Shirley Brennan of Deltona, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Nicholas and Carina Walters, Ryan and Maggie Rohrbaugh and Tracey (Jeremiah) DeVito; and all of her dear friends at the Harmony Village in Columbiana. Besides her parents, 2 brothers, Leslie and Robert Regal and 3 sisters, Velma DeLong, Betty Harley and Donna Bortner, also preceded her in death.
