Barbara Jo Utt, 79, of Stealey and Sardis areas of Clarksburg departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2011 at her home. She was born September 22, 1931 in Monongah, Marion County, a daughter of Jennings S. Frum and Mable M. Davis Frum. She is survived by her loving husband Charles W. Utt. In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters; Ramona L Knapp and husband Thomas of Clarksburg, Candace M Fontaine and husband Scott of Clarksburg and Tammy G Swaim and husband Jeffery of Clarksburg; one step daughter; Anne R Miller, wife of the late Charles L. Miller of Bruceton Mills; one step son; Charles D Utt and wife Janet of Jane Lew; three grandchildren; Alexis Hall, Amber Knapp, Joshua Kyle Swaim; ten step grandchildren, Michelle Swanson, Heather Jack, Shawn Jack, Chris Utt, Sunni Brooke Utt Bowser, Brandon Fontaine, Jared Fontaine, Timothy L Watson, II, Joshua A Watson, and Amber Benincosa; one step great grandchild, Brayden Edward “Charles” Bowser; sister-in-law, Patricia Frum, nieces Kim Frum Minear and Robin Jones, nephews, Joseph Helms, Charles Helms, Jeff Frum and Scott Frum, and many additional nieces and nephews; special friends, Timothy L Watson, JoAnn Layfield, Butch and Iris Wickenhofer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Robert E. Frum; one sister, Shirley S Ash; nephew David P Ash; an infant daughter; and family friend, Kevin Beerbower. Barbara attended Victory High School and was employed by Hazel Atlas, Continental Can, Brockway Glass and Anchor Hocking where she was a glass packer for 34 ½ years. She was a member of the American Flint Glass Workers Union. She attended the Word of Life Assembly of God.
