Barbara Jean Wynne, 77, of Bristol, formerly of Plainville, passed away on Sunday September 21, 2008 at Bristol Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1931 in New Britain, to the late James and Viola (Allen) Coates.
Barbara was raised in Plainville and graduated from Plainville High School. After high school she worked at Marlin Rockwell for many years before becoming employed with Grove Hill.
She leaves her 3 children, a daughter Linda Davis and her husband Donald of Southington, and 2 sons John and Mark McLellan both of Bristol, 3 grandchildren Tamyra Davis, Kate Brewer and her husband Chris and Lucas McLellan, 3 great grandchildren Brandon Carney and Isabelle and Jade Brewer, a cousin Sharon Trainor of Waterbury, an Aunt Edith Urban of Southington and her faithful companion, her dog Sable.
