Barbara Jean Knoblock, 79, of Anderson, went to her eternal home on January 24, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional hospital. She was born on July 10, 1934 in Paris, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She worked in retail sales for 30 years in the Ladies Fashion Wear. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband whom she married October 12, 1956, Gale Knoblock of Anderson, daughter, Debby Tony Metzger of Anderson, son, Brad Chris Knoblock of Wilkinson, mother, Alta Frances Wagoner of Pendleton, grandchildren; Kindren Gary Hughes, Braden and Aubree Metzger, Brandi, Jarrod, Kristopher, Paige, Bradley, Andrew and Bailey Knoblock; four great-grandchildren, sister, Shirley Martin, brothers, Richard Blake, Ernie Blake, Charles Blake, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Blake, grandchildren Adam and Matthew Knoblock, and great-grandson, Zayden Knoblock-Knight.
