Barbara Seldon Kacer passed away peacefully on January 4, 2017. Barbara was born on March 27, 1933 in New England, but spent most of her adult life in South Miami. She was pre-deceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Russel Kacer. Together, they raised three sons and a daughter. While raising her children, she was active in the community, including serving as the president of the Mangowood Women’s Club. Barbara was an avid reader and also spent many years as an artist creating beautiful and exciting paintings. Barbara lived a vibrant life and was a friend to so many – she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her four children, Mark (Debbie) and grandchildren: Amanda, Kevin and Brandon; Peter (Pegge) and grandchildren: Peter, Elizabeth and Andrew; Andy (Connie) and grandchildren: Michael, Milena and Tessa; Kristin (Ed) and grandchildren: Meghan and James.
