Barbara Jean (Blecha) Dyas, 46, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on April 19, 1967 in Humboldt, Nebraska to Richard and Phyllis (Shrauger) Blecha. She grew up on a farm south of Table Rock, Nebraska. Barbara attended school in Table Rock and graduated from Table Rock High School with the class of 1985. In the fall of 1985, she continued her education by attending Doane College in Crete, Nebraska graduating in 1989. During college, Barb enjoyed playing piano for various groups and activities.
On April 4, 1992 Barb was united in marriage to Phil Dyas and later divorced. To this union three girls: Nicole Ann, Erin Marie, and Amanda Jean were born.
Barb passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the age of forty-six years, ten months, and eleven days. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Blecha Sr., and a brother Richard Blecha Jr.
Barb is survived by her mother Phyllis Blecha of Humboldt, NE; daughters: Nicole Hoffman and her husband Shawn of Kearney, NE; Erin Dyas of Crete, NE; Amanda Dyas of Table Rock, NE; brothers: Howard Blecha and his wife Debbie of Table Rock, NE; Jim Blecha and his wife Vickie of Junction City, KS; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Houk, Nick Blecha, Ben Blecha, Rebecca Blecha, and James Blecha Jr.; a grandson Timothy Hoffman of Kearney, NE; and many other relatives and friends.
