Barbara Jean Cruse, 65, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Wood County, WV on March 20, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Shessield and Thomas Everette Yancey.
Barb was a loving homemaker with the patience of a saint. She enjoyed cooking and loved fried green tomatoes. She attended Woodleaf Baptist Church. Barb was a loving and giving person and would do anything for others. She loved Ron dearly and tried to keep him in line. She also loved her dog Bullet. She was loved by all and will truly be missed. We hope that she will continue to look over us and keep us safe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her life partner, Ron Grobe; sons, Clinton Grobe (Stacey) of Midland, NC, Ron Grobe, Jr. (Desmonne) of Spencer, NY, Jeremy Cruse and Aaron Cruse; daughter, Karen Wagner (Andy) of Rockwell; brother-in-law, Randy Grobe (Carol) of Spencer, NY; sisters, Darla Bryce of Florida and Diane Witt-Barrera of Woodbridge, VA; grandchildren, Kane Wagner, Caleb Grobe, Josh Grobe, and William Grobe and several nieces.
