As you all know she was afraid of horses and married a horse trainer, yet she had the best eye for a great horse and the best coach from the rail at horse shows! She enjoyed the kid’s classes Lead line being her favorite– saying look at the future horse trainers on those big horses. She told everyone when they did not win a class it was just one person’s opinion. Barbara was always encouraging to all horse show competitors, and she was everyone’s biggest fan.
She loved watching Lawrence Welk and 60 minutes. Hallmark was her favorite tv channel and any true story was her favorite movie as she would always say you cannot go wrong watching a “true story”! She loved going to the movies with her family.
During her dementia years, she loved going to a party which was anything from going out to eat, eating Sunday dinner with family or celebrating a holiday.
She knows heaven is for real and her last questions were “How do I get to heaven? and “Are you coming with me?”
