WALLINGFORD – Barbara Cislo, 67, known to friends as “Bobbi,” from the Yalesville section of Wallingford, departed this life on March 12, 2018 at Masonicare surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Cislo, Sr.
Bobbi was born in Meriden, CT on September 16, 1950 to the late Lawrence and Mae (Baer) Doolittle, Sr. In her early years she attended Lyman Hall High School and was very involved in the band throughout her time there. She attended Quinnipiac College before taking the time to raise her family. Thereafter, she become a Nursing Supervisor for the American Red Cross. It was here that she would dedicate twenty-seven years of her life’s work.
Bobbi was involved in her community including her tenure as president of the Tracy Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, previous membership to the VFW Post 9965 Ladies Auxiliary, time spent as a troop leader in Wallingford Girls Scouts, and member of the Elks Lodge 1365. Bobbi had a passion for boating and deep-sea fishing and spent many years on the water, but above all, her biggest passion in life was her family. Her love for them was endless and resonated in everything she did.
Besides her husband Ronald, Bobbi is survived by a daughter, Tami Haynes and two sons; John Cislo (Michele) and Ben Cislo (Rachel). She also leaves behind her five adoring grandchildren; Michael Haynes, Matthew Haynes, Samantha Haynes, Nicole Cislo, and Katelyn Cislo, her loving brothers, Lawrence and Ken Doolittle, loving sister-in-laws Joy and Cheryl, dear friends Ellen and Shawana, and neighborhood son Paul Powell (Pauly).
