Barbara Jane Heath Sherman died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sherman will be laid to rest with her family in De Motte, Indiana.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late William Austin Heath and Bonnie Ruth Landress Heath, Mrs. Sherman was a retired secretary with Oak Grove Assisted Living.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Earl “Bob” Sherman; their sons, James Sherman (Gail) of Rome and Brian Sherman (Jane) of Rensselaer, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Sandy Lawrence of Macon and Cathy Goodson (Ray) of Byron; brothers, Kenneth Heath of Texas and David Heath (Brenda) of Smithville; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Sehorn, a brother, Jerry Heath, and granddaughters, Kristen and Ashley Sherman.
