Barbara Jane Burnett, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was born November 13, 1930, in Muncie, the daughter of Ira and Ola (Cox) Nelson, and attended Muncie schools.
Mrs. Burnett was a homemaker and an avid bingo player.
Surviving are her son, Ricky Burnett, (wife, Jamie), Muncie; her daughter, Janet Jones, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother Raymond Nelson, (wife, Janet), Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty years, William J. Burnett; and her brother, Ira “RIP” Nelson.
