Barbara J. Sozio, (nee McConnell) died Tuesday, May 28th at home, she was 77 years of age. Born on October 18, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Alice (Goheen) Heenan. A homemaker for most of her life, Barbara loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Philip J. Sozio, Jr., her children and their spouses: Philip Sozio, III, (LuAnne), Diane Sozio and close friend, Patricia Hutchinson, Carol Sozio-Foulks (Ralph), Deborah Carnivale (Albert, Jr.), Sharon Sozio and Ruthanne Wilson (Shawn).
She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and their spouses: John Sozio, Jessica Walter (Shane), Brandi Anderson (Kyle), Coleen Hobaugh (Marty), John Jenkins, Tina Lipski (Mike), Angela Miller (Warren), Steven Wilson and Albert Carnivale as well as six great-grandchildren.
