Barbara J. North Hunt, 80, Anderson, died May 13, 2011 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
She was born December 2, 1930 in Anderson and lived here most of her life before moving to Florida eight years ago. Barbara retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 31 years of service. She had also worked at the Dorothy Blevins Shop and Glitz Boutique. Survivors include her son, Robert K. Hunt Reba of Florida; one grandson Robert Paul Copeland of Indianapolis; and a great granddaughter, Carli Copeland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Wilson Hunt, on June 20, 1973; parents, Leroy & Mary Southworth North; daughter, Marla Hunt; and a sister, Norma Montgomery.
