SALEM – Barbara J. Gorman, age 86, died at 11:02 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born October 15, 1931 in Salem, the daughter of the late Emory and Blanche (Caldwell) Burson.
Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to go antiquing and to estate sales. She spent most of her life in Connecticut and returned home to Salem in 2000.
Her husband, Edmund W. Gorman Jr., whom she married June 26, 1954, preceded her in death on December 26, 2006.
Survivors include four sons, Edmund Gorman III of Port Orange, FL, David Gorman of Ormond Beach, FL, Gregory Gorman of Cheshire, CT and Timothy Gorman of Salem; a daughter, Kathleen Breuer of Prospect, CT; and three grandchildren.
