Barbara J. (Cousineau) Lucchesi, 78, of Holyoke passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2022. She was born in Holyoke Ma. to the late Leo and Rita (Labrecque) Cousineau. Barbara had a positive impact on everyone that was fortunate enough to have known her. For many years she enjoyed playing Bingo and participated in Saturday Night Bowling league at Fun Time Lanes in Holyoke, at Home she enjoyed playing Yahtzee with her mother and daughter Gina, and enjoyed endless hours on her IPad playing word games and even the “occasional “ scratch ticket. Just like her mother, she was a diehard Red Sox fan and never missed a chance to watch their beloved team play, alongside the company of her dogs. Barbara worked for many years for her sons at Lucchesi Billiards where she was a familiar face. As an accomplished pool player, she competed in the U.S. Open Pool Tournament in 1969 against the country’s best players. At Ivory Billiards, she loved playing Keno and could easily be talked into a rack or two in her later years.
