Barbara “Gayle” Newbold, 70, of Grand Junction, Colorado; passed away on March 22, 2017 at Saint Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in Grand Junction after a short illness. She was born on June 28, 1946 to Jack and Dovey Gardell in Denver, Colorado.
After her retirement Gayle moved to Grand Junction, Colorado to be closer with her family. She loved family gambling trips, barbeques, and get together’s.
Gayle was preceded in death by her father Jack Gardell. She is survived by her mother Dovey Gardell of Palisade, Colorado; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Priscila Newboldand grand daughter Charlotte of Florida; son Christopher Newbold of Denver, Colorado; brother John Gardell; sister Theresa (Ed) Tekansik, nephew Mathew Tekansik, niece Sarah McMillan.
