Barbara Ellen Williams, 80, of Palatka, passed from this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, she resided in Palatka since 1978 coming from Hampton, Virginia.
Barbara worked 15 years in the environmental services division at Putnam Community Medical Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Palatka where she had served as the hospitality chairman. In her leisure time, Barbara enjoyed listening to gospel music and reading.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert F. “Bob” Williams of Palatka, 3 sons, David Darby, Jeff Williams (Ruth) and Greg Williams (Lori), a step-daughter, Sally Walker, 3 brothers, Tommy Harper, Leonard Harper, and Mike Harper, 6 grandchildren, Josh Williams (Lois), Justin Williams (Scarlett), Mandi Moore (Dalton), Kassie Eleweanya (Nathan), Megan Williams and Zachariah Darby and 7 great-grandchildren.
