Barbara Ellen (Lieland) VanHuss, 61, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Health-Indianapolis, surrounded by her family. She was born June 29, 1953 in Rushville, Indiana, daughter of Melvin G. Lieland and Betty E. Currey Lieland. She graduated from Rushville Community High School in 1971. Barbara was married on November 22, 1975 in Rushville to Joe VanHuss; they were married for 39 years.
She was employed by I.U. Health in Greeenwood at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, Joe VanHuss, son, Jay VanHuss of Greenwood, sister, Joann
Gorrell of Champaign, Illinois, brother, Jim Lieland of Rushville, brother-in-law, Jon (Debbie) VanHuss of Collinsville, Oklahoma, five nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Barbara cherished her family and treasured her friends.
