Torrington: Barbara E. (Cornwright) Coolidge, entered into eternal peace on May 15, 2008, at her residence, Geer Nursing and Rehab Center in Canaan. She was the wife of the late Charles N. Coolidge who died in 1993. Born February 3, 1916 in Lewis, NY, daughter of the late George and Myrtie Cornwright, She attended school in NY, graduating from Plattsburg Business College. She lived in Torrington for many years and was a loving and giving person dedicated to her family. She is survived by a son, Charles A. Coolidge and his wife Lorraine and a daughter, Carolyn Minard all of Torrington; a grandson, John Coolidge of Otis, MA; a granddaughter, Sheila Wheelock of Goshen; eight great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter, two nephews and one sister in law. She was predeceased by two brothers, George and Henry Cornwright, her granddaughter, Charmaine DeMaeo and great granddaughter, Faith Lee Wheelock.
